If you have questions on the REB review process in ARIEL, please contact the NYGH Research Ethics Board office for assistance, at reb@nygh.on.ca.  You may also call the NYGH REB Administrator, at 416-756-6444 extension 3485.

If you are having system problems using ARIEL (for REB and ORI users both), please email reb@nygh.on.ca.  If possible, please include the following information in your email: 

•  Full details for user that is having the problem, their email address would help.
•  Outline of the problem
•  If possible, steps to replicate
•  If possible, a screen grab of the problem or error message
•  URL of the page you are having the problem with.
•  In some instances, if you can record a video of the problem, we encourage this as it will help with the investigation.

Please note that some problems are likely as we roll out ARIEL at NYGH, especially in the beginning.  Please be patient and help us improve the system and its functionality.  

Version 1.1 of the forms is now live! (as of 12-OCT-2022)

Updates include adding and revising help text for multiple questions, adding principal investigator contact information (pre-filled from earlier forms), study contact information, and study sponsor information to all forms so that these may be included on issue/approval letters and/or emails to the research team. It is now also possible to upload a list of minor protocol deviations and SUSARs at the time of continuing renewal or study closure.  Additionally, labels for the project tree were added so that applicants can readily differentiate between submissions of the same type moving forwards.
